Exporter test: Kitchen

Post by delle » Mon Sep 29, 2008 10:04 pm

Hi, this is a test of the internal exporter of my Program (Easy Architect 3D) to Indigo.

Still some stuff to fix but I like the results (Indigo is superb)

The lighting's very nice!
If the wood is intended to be pine I think the grains are a little too large and it looks like you've got some tiling on the table. However, that's just nitpicking like an orangutan.

Very photorealistic ! I like the warm colors.
But maybe the camera is too high ? You should place it at, let's say, 1.70m from floor.

I had to do a trick with the Camera in this scene... :D

As I've explained here:

http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... highlight=

I need to place the camera outside the room, but since Indigo is not capable of rendering objects invisible to the camera but not to reflected rays, I had to create a "fake" opening into the back wall.

So the camera position is a balance between the viewing angle and the "fake aperture" into wall....

P.S. Se my screenshot to view the Scene and the Camera from "Easy Architect 3D"

Bye

Delle.
