A small castle.

Post by Johan » Sat Jul 12, 2008 5:54 pm

This was one of thoose projects I started but never finished. I think it´s time to finish-of this one.

This is a small Condemned castle in the village I live in. The owner who have money, "family to the Swedish King" refuses to pay for the restoration. He want the gov to pay, if they want it to be like a landmark.

Now it´s condemned :(
Still beutiful though. So I wanted to model and render like it once looked.

Indigo does with realism.....

Cheers

BTW. I render a rear view know, just as cool design. Gonna upload later.

Start of adding detail, etc.

Post by Johan » Tue Jul 15, 2008 8:30 am

Added some more detail, and textures.
Trying to keep everything like my ref. A lot nicer, not like brand new, neither condemned like it is.

One hour and ten minutes rendering :)

Cheers

//but don't overdo violets chromatic aberration //

Mmm, but I love it soo mutch....
Makes it look warm and analog :)
Like old film in the camera.

But I agree, I will try not to overdo it.
I didnt stop the render, so I could upload a clean, without any post done.
But I need to wait so there will be a bigger differance in quality.
Maybe in the morning....

Great progress. But Kram is right, it's so easy to overdo chromatic aberration.
