I've been working on this for the past few days, and I'm nearly done. Just a few things to model still. I also have to fix the lines that form. Does anyone know how to fix that?
Kram1032 I plan on it, but I'm having a hard time following the tutorials I found on how to make a tire. I make a pattern then duplicate it enough to make a big enough circle, but the I can't get the curve modifier to work right.
Here's an update. I tried using an ies light instead of mesh emitters and I think it looks better. What do you guys think?

The background was artefacted... - Maybe you forgot to switch on normalsmoothing...
But I liked the warm tone of the light - It makes the whole scene (with main focus on the car, obviously) "more attractive".
Additionally, due to the car being blue, it adds contrast and so, the car pops out a bit more.

Yeah, I forgot to turn on smooting, but I fixed that. I also gave the background a gentler slope so it flows away from the car better, less like a wall.
I'll try using some warmer toned lights. Can you change the color of ies lights?
I found an ior for natural rubber, 1.5191. Does that seem about right for a car tire?

Looks good keep at it. You are going to work on the tires? the look...well a tad square, they should be a bit more rounded on the sides. They are essentially big balloons with a hole in the center.
Other than that it looks great. And I would fix the orange color, it's too yellow. But I may just be picky.

Sure it is better ! the headlights are realistic now, you could use bump mapping on them if you are not fancy modeling them more accurately (i assume they are not smooth in reality).
The lighting is better also; I wonder why you play with colours instead of temperatures, wich should be more natural looking imo.
