No problem. I guess I will just render a front and back shot and post it in the finished section then.

I hope you meant 45 degree angle front and back, because straight front/back kinda sucks.
The angle you had so far was great.

just dont put it smack in the middle of the image. theres too much dead space around it, compositionally. give one side some precedence or tighten up the shot.

I just saw some car pictures and they gave me some ideas for different camera angles, so I'm going to try some more things first.

I didn't really get anything I liked. This is about the best I got...
Maybe if I spent more time with it I could get it somewhere, but I think I'll just use what I had before, but tighten up the compositition.
StompinTom
What do you mean by 'give one side some precedence'?

I tried using linear tonemapping, but I'm not sure if I like it more than the tonemapping I was using before. What do you guys think?

Any idea how to make it brighter? I tried adding more emitters but it didn't seem to do much. I can try that again though.
zsouthboy

tonemapping. if using Reinhard, increase the post-scale value. if using Camera, jack up the ISO. if using Linear, set the scale higher.

I'm using linear so I guess I'll try messing with scale some more.

yep, linear is totally set by hand, no automatisms within ! The default setting is, for say, always off. I like linear tonemapping !
