I forgot to write this in my last post but I would definitely LOVE to know how you did that tire (and the metal rim, thing I forget the name).
And as stated like 6 times above, I repeat myself. AMAZING!

Very nice work. I wanted to ask you about the displacements on the tire -- what are you using? An 8-bit TIF? A 32-bit EXR? Have you had any problems with polygonal artefacts at the edges of objects or on UV seams? I seem to be having some problems with displacements, myself, and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong (see

the tire is composed from two different having mesh the same formulations of displacement, the meshes are divided for three in multires more two subdivisions "indigo"
