I forgot to write this in my last post but I would definitely LOVE to know how you did that tire (and the metal rim, thing I forget the name).

Very nice work. I wanted to ask you about the displacements on the tire -- what are you using? An 8-bit TIF? A 32-bit EXR? Have you had any problems with polygonal artefacts at the edges of objects or on UV seams? I seem to be having some problems with displacements, myself, and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong (see http://www.indigorenderer.com/joomla/fo ... php?t=4665 for my troubles).

the tire is composed from two different having mesh the same formulations of displacement, the meshes are divided for three in multires more two subdivisions "indigo"
