displacement tests thread
heres one from me, too.
rendered on a P4 3.0 ghz,
the sphere has 2.676.798 tris after subdivision,
the task manager says indigo uses 300mb, but overall usage is 1000mb
minus 350(normal usage), minus another 100 for other apps running...
lets say about 500mb mem usage.

grab the official indigo preview scene. that scene you're using now (it looks like the one I 'doctored up' for sketchy) has some issues on and around the logo area -- looks strange. the latest one works much better!

Another attempt in "real situation".
I took an extremely low-poly scene I started some time ago, added a small displace modifier within blender, than applied indigo's displacement.
Man, displacement makes life so much easier !
Sorry I forgot to note the techical stuff (memory used, render time and such).
