Wikipedia says, frenesel lens is used for situations, where you need to care for heavyness and you don't care for projecton quality. - assuming, that the frenesel makes a worse picture, I guess, the right one is the frenesel :)

- there also is "frenesel lens paper" on one of the wikipedia pics.... that must be cool^^

Yep, right side is the fresnel. I have some of that paper, it fun to fry stuff with it.

[Edit] Note: Each lens in the previous render test is 1 m in diameter, and is lit with the equivalent of a 150 Watt tungsten halogen lamp.

Back to topic

Here is the updated nice one with the ugly one.
- lesser DOF (or more?)
- a little bupmap on the tables, thicker and more dressy chairs

I know it still sucks, but the projector works together with environment map and neon tubes :)

That´s what I meant (perspectice).
Also the projector and the plane really need some work. But there is so much to do and so little time and MHz :(

Heh, sorry. Just figured you might want a fresnel for your projector.

lol - I know, that wouldn't be quite correct, but what about a bump map on the world map xD
It really looks great, the mobile phone on the chair looks good but either it's too small, or the key or what it is, is too big^^

try to make a chalk-map... the blackboard is just too perfectly clean^^
a sponge and some chalk would be great, as well as a bucket filled with (obviously invisible) water :) (or a water source...)
and maybe some graffiti on the chair^^

oh, and an ugly slightly blackish chewing gum on the bottom side of the very out of focus table in the foreground :D (DoF is great, just to avoid misunderstandings^^)

ah! and what about some pieces of old paper, lying around in the class, on the floor, and so on :)

lol, lot of requests^^ - and to be honest, I wouldn't have enough patience to do them, myself, so don't bother you, if you don't want to ;)

It´s no mobile phone, it´s an USB-stick key ring
No chalk, I´m allergic to chalk dust :?
Chewing gum, yes. And booger! Perhaps a fluid-sim?

Can´t you see the (dark) sponge right to the chalkboard? It is a sss masterpiece

oh, lol, with that DoF situation, you can't define it as "sponge" but as "something black and edgy" :P

talking about chalk dust...
non-uniformal dustlike SSS :D:D:D (ok, I know, currently* impossible)

lol, yeah, fluidsim chewing gum and booger^^
