A simple house in Mexico

Post by Lal-O » Thu Nov 05, 2015 3:22 am

Hi there guys !
I have a question :) ....
What is the right or the best ray tracing method to get rid of the white dots in the black glass ?
The options that Skindigo gives are :
Path Tracing
Bidirectional Path Tracing
Path Tracing with MLT
Bidirectional with MLT

Thx in advance

That's not a simple house, it's a beauty! :D

For starters, you could make sure you're using AGS(architectural glass solution), or specular material with arch glass option on. The best method so far, for those tricky scenes, for me, was BiDirMLT, but since this is an outdoor scene, I think you might as well go with BiDir PathTracing.
