Creating a realistic plaster texture but need direction...

Post by danbush » Tue Dec 09, 2008 3:51 am

I came across this article on creating a weathered plaster look (we too use a LOT of plaster on our projects) and am trying to reproduce in SU6 with Indigo 1.1.14 and SKIndigo 1.1.12.

I'm trying to use Whaat's technique for applying bump maps separate from the texture assigned to the SU material but this new version of SKIndigo does NOT allow me to use an existing material as did 1.1.09.

The question: How would I go about assigning separate materials for the base and bump in SKIndigo 1.1.12? Specifically, as with the article, I'd like a blue color and a concrete texture for the base, and a sandblast noise texture as the bump.

Any help is appreciated...
