Out of curiousity,
Are you guys using 1.1.8 or 1.1.9 with great success?
I am still using 1.0.9 because I am insecure about using the latest versions with shaders, new emitter system etc....
I have the impression that latest versions aren't that easy to use as the earlier ones....
So I would love to hear about your experiences.

hi all,
i've been following along with each new release and have had no issues as of yet. i have been primarily testing new features but on the few images i have tried to create, i have had no problems. there are alot of new things popping up all the time but they are not getting in the way of the previous functionallity. and yes, the next entry from Whaat will be stupendous i'm sure!!

I am using Indigo 1.1.9 and the newest Skindigo test and I don't use any of the new stuff
mainly because I'm waiting for a good tut or some baseline settings.
still use it in the same way, but the ability to change the tone mapping while rendering is very useful.
haven't done very much testing with the different layer things.
one thing that is a little of a pain is that you cannot assign a bump (or anything else) map to an existing skp material, it has to be an imported mat.
has to do with the UV mapping I think.
kind of a pain, but not that big of a deal.

Do you get this error message if the material is applied directly to the faces? Or, does it only happen when you have the material applied to a group or component?crojack wrote:if I add a sketchup color, not something imported, and then I add a map, from something I imported to that color. I get the "No such UV set 'default'"
but if both of the mats are imported, I don;t get the error message.
Can you please post a detailed sequence of repeatable steps that results in this error message?
Thanks
I thought we convered this on page 2 of this thread
basically I paint a skp color on a face. than I import a mat to use for bump and paint it on the face, than I repaint the face with the skp color and in the Mat Editor, i choose the imported mat I want to use for a bump and assign a value.
than when I render, I get that error. But if instead of using a skp color, I import a color(or whatever mat) and than import the bump mat/map, it works.
