Place for light absorbtion?

Are there any plans to add absorbtion to the material GUI?

I haven't really had a need for it yet, but I think it is already implemented in the current GUI (scattering)...

Not sure if that is what you mean though.

Absorption has always been controlled by the material color and the opacity setting. There are no plans to change this. It seems fairly intuitive.
