Living room loooks REALLY great
although, ceiling is a bit too reflective to my tastes.
benn hired a mercenary to kill my sig...

The objects in the render with the Plasma are floating off the ground by like 3 inches but I fixed that.

Exteriors does not look so real, i think you need to use better vegetation and use better textures and illumination. About the interior, they look good, i think you should subdivide the sofa or make a more detailed model of it.

Does anyone know how I can ajust the lighting in the interior scenes? I have no clue what controls what to get the result that I want. I just want the lighting to look like a normal lit room.

than you make the lights the same as if this was a normal lit room. use camera tonemapping, not reinhard and make the bulbs the same power as lightbulb that you want.
you can also take you render into violet and adjust some of it there.
the interiors look like a good start!
