I set some glass to a very dark brown and now i have to set the transparency to almost 100 to get it to actually be close to the color I set. Lower values simply produce very clear glass. When I set it to 100, it appears black.
Is this normal, considering that my glass is very thin?

Yes, it's normal Neo! If you want to have more control over the absorption of your glass, try setting a lighter brown and then play around with the SUmaterial opacity!
(do you mind posting your wip? always useful
