Material Preview Scene for SketchUp/SkIndigo

Post by cpfresh » Sat May 24, 2008 9:30 am

Hey all! :D Here is the supplied IGS file (from the new material database thread) re-worked in-order to work with sketchy. I believe its original author is either drBouvierLeduc or fused ... Thanks for sharing! To use this in SkIndigo, all you need to do is unzip it to your SUPreviews folder.

**I'd recommend saving your current IMPmatdb.igs file some place for safe keeping [or rename]**

Then to use it for previews just select the 'Indigo' model on the SkIndigo Material Editor GUI. Easy! :D

If anyone uses this and makes it better in some way, please update this thread with your changes so everyone can enjoy them!

**edit**
Here's a wood texture I tested using the IMPmatdb.igs file.

the original author is the dr. all credits go to him. the file i uloaded is the scene used by cindigo fo rendering previews.

i think it might be better to wait for the next indigo release and/or the all-official preview scene.
