Post by yosef » Sat May 24, 2008 12:20 am

hi

i try to install skindigo to sketchup but it not work
i did not undrstnd what i need to do in line 5
where is the directory indigo
did i need to chanch a name of file?

INSTALLATION
This version of SkIndigo is to be used with Indigo 1.0.9 (1.0 stable)

1. Remove any previous versions of SkIndigo from your SketchUp/Plugins directory
2. After unzipping the file you downloaded, you should have a file called 'Skindigo.rb', a folder called 'SkIndigo', and another folder called 'SUpreviews'
3. Copy 'SkIndigo.rb' into your SketchUp/Plugins directory
4. Copy the 'SkIndigo' folder into your SketchUp/Plugins directory
5. Copy the 'SUpreviews' folder to your Indigo directory
6. Run SketchUp

thanks for your help

Yosef.
You need to download Skindigo, but also INDIGO in a folder of your choice. You can find it on the main page of this website ( @ 'downloads').

By the way, you mentioned it yourself in the post you just made ;)

i dont think it matters where you keep the indigo program folder specifically. but for sure the skindigo stuff must be placed in the plugins folder [and the SUPreviews folder in where ever you placed your indigo folder]

I recommend NOT putting the indigo folder in your c:\program files directory. This can create conflicts with Windows Vista.

You should be able to put it anywhere else.

sorry...you need SU6. You can use the free version or the Pro version.
