he does anyone know the quickist way to get rid of normals??/

I'm not sure what you mean, exactly by "get rid of" normals. A normal is the direction a face is pointing. In sketchUp, you can tell which is the front or back of a face by it's color (before texturing).

If I missed something please explain a little further! It's entirely possible that I'm just not understanding something. :D
