section cut renders

I've saved a scene in sketchup which is a section cut through the model. When I try and render, it renders the whole building rather than the view I want.

Is there a way round this or do I have to delete all the model which is in the way of the view I want to render?

I don't think there is a way to render sections, although it would be awesome if there was-

anyways, I think there is a ruby script that would make a group out of a section cut, and than you could put that group on a layer and turn the layer off. I haven't actually tried this but that was sort of the flow I was thinking about.

I actually thought of way to do this a couple of days ago. Once I get some time, I'll look into it. Don't hold your breath, though. This might never happen.

it would be a great additional feature to indigo if you can get this to work. I stumbled with the same issue on maxwell.
