My little animation test

Post by crojack » Sat Apr 12, 2008 4:53 am

and my Youtube upload, man that is easy.

anyways, nothing special, it was a scene I messed around with a long time ago that never went anywhere, but simple enough for an animation.
15sec/frame
15min/frame renders - about 16hours of rendering

ended up with 66 frames

and a whopping nine seconds of video :P

I was hoping for a little "cooler" looking stuff but I do like how the reflection on the floor fades in and out half way through.

let me know what you think!

Nice, looks pretty cool.
Strange how the brightness of the balls fluctuates.

Nice test.
But some things aren't right.
As Ono mentions, the balls act weird. Also there is reflection on the floor that is only visible from a certain angle (from 00:02 to 00:04 and 00:06 to 00:07).

Still pretty cool. (:

yeah,I think the weird brightness on the globes is a product of bad sketchup smoothing. :?

I like the reflection that shows up midway through, wouldn't that be accurate?
I don't know.

The light on the floor part way though is light bouncing off the inside of the window, then the floor, into the camera :)
