Hello, during my renders, bright particles which deprive some charm of my scene appear systematically.
Do you know where the problem come from, and how fix it ?
Thanks.
Example :
Light points
Re: Light points
Hi, these bright points (or "fireflies" as they are often called) appear when the lighting situation becomes difficult, and there are a number of features in Indigo to combat the problem.
Before I get to that, it's worth checking if the glass in your scene is correctly modelled; it looks like there's only a single surface to the interface, which is physically incorrect and causes rendering problems. For more info on modelling glass correctly, please see this page: http://www.indigorenderer.com/documenta ... ling-glass
Back to techniques for reducing the fireflies: this scene would probably benefit a lot from Glass Acceleration, which is designed to allow sunlight through panes of thin glass. I'd suggest enabling this in the bi-directional path tracing rendering mode (without MLT).
Hope that helps!
