When I have face in sketchup with tif file as base material, render with IR 3 has error message like this "Error while building scene: Error while loading diffuse material 'LOGO': Failed to load texture 'C:\Users\husni\AppData\Roaming\Indigo Renderer\TX_default/logo.tif': Tiff file has unsupported number of channels: 5.
Any one can help me?
error loading tif file as material in sketchup
Re: error loading tif file as material in sketchup
Try opening up the tif file in an image editing program and Save As.. a new file with only 3 channels. I believe Indigo only supports images with 3 channels. Maybe your tif file has layers which Indigo does not support.husnirhb wrote:When I have face in sketchup with tif file as base material, render with IR 3 has error message like this "Error while building scene: Error while loading diffuse material 'LOGO': Failed to load texture 'C:\Users\husni\AppData\Roaming\Indigo Renderer\TX_default/logo.tif': Tiff file has unsupported number of channels: 5.

Then, you nee to reload that texture into SketchUp before your render.
