How to render a exterior night shot?

I have no idea how and i would really like to create a exterior night rendering. I would like to nkow all the settings and stuff like that.

I think it would work if you make sure you are using Camera tonemapping and then set your environment to 'SketchUp background color".

Then, choose a dark blue as a background color. Then, just play around with the tonemapping and background color settings until you are happy with the result.

The best is balancing warm interior lights with a cold HDRI or solid color. Night shots are rarely actually *night* shots. They are typically dusk shots that still have a considerable amount of ambient sky lighting, after the sun has set but before it gets truly dark. That's why they look so rad!
