Tutorials, Applying Materials

Post by andyflo » Tue Sep 28, 2010 7:43 am

Hi there guys, i am new to indigo/skindigo and seem to be getting the grip of things quite quickly, though am having trouble with applying materials.

i really want to make use of the great material library online and have downloaded a few of them, but cant find a tutorial on how to utilise these.....eg, unpack, resize, mapping.

so i guess my question is - how can i utilise downloaded indigo materials in sketchup.

thanks heaps

All you have to do is to select the material you would like to be replaced by the database material, and click 'import' at the top of the SkIndigo material editor. Or use the the material type 'Linked IGM' to directly link to the material file without importing it.
