Thanks a lot Whaat!
VERY QUICK!
I'll test this on the scene I'm currently working on and let you know if anything doesn't work properly!

hm..I tried to use the advanced UV tools yesterday and something was rendering not correctly.. Maybe I was VERY tired, but this message is to ring a preventive alarm bell  Gonna try further today..

BTW, I come here to ask for something I'd find useful: a "costraint proportions" check in the output resolution panel. The Indigo GUI has it and I think it's time we add it inside SkIndigo :D

Keep us updated about your work on SkIndigo Whaat! We all are so interested!
What are you working on now? What about including the "architectural glass render option" (Indigo 2.6.1) inside our beloved GUI? Seems to be a very tricky option: I'd very like to use it extensively
Lately I've been thinking of a "theme" renewal: I like dark themes, and the colour picker you introduced met my total excitement. Would it be possible to make all the SkIndigo windows to be visualized with that style? It's very cool :!: :!: :!:

Another small bug I spotted: Emitters can be set using Kelvin values and even gain inside SkIndigo, but none of that will be kept after the export. All layers will be reset to gain 1 and 6500K.

Maybe a screenshot perhaps or more detailed explanation would help me understand the problem? :)

Been meaning to add this for a long time but for some reason I haven't go around to it.

Been really busy lately with non-Indigo stuff but this will definitely be the next feature I add.

Thanks!

Thank you a lot for your reply, Dale.

What about the export issue I reported in the Announcement section? Indigoi or SkIndigo "bug"?

And what about the wrong light layers settings export?

Hi Whaat!
I'm playing around a little with the diffraction parameters: I see there is something confusing going on.

When you get to the proper tab in the SkIndigo GUI, the default aperture shape is set to "circular", but the aperture map, blade and rotation inputs field are still active. This puzzles a little.
Things get correct if you switch the aperture shape to a different parameter (say, pentagonal), and then switch back to "circular", or "image".

A little thing to fix. Nothing major. Thank you!

Thanks Pibuz,

It's already on my list to fix, but I appreciate the reminder!

Hey Whaat...

I'm a forum retard, so sorry for popping in here in the middle
of a discussion, but my concerns are related to both you and
SkIndigo... (recommended by CTZn)

I just Updated to SketchUp 8, downloaded Indigo and SkIndigo,
followed the instructions as described in the text or the tutorial,
pasted the skindigo.rb in
"Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/Plugins"
folder, and then when starting up SketchUp i receive this message
"Error Loading File skindigo.rb no such file to load--DMcolormath.rb

Whaat up Whaat...?

Welcome here ang!

It looks you are missing some files. Something must have got messed up when you extracted and copied the files from the archive. You say you copied skindigo.rb to the plugins folder. That's correct, but there is also a 'skindigo' folder that contains a bunch of support files. You also need to place the skindigo folder in the 'plugins' folder.

Hope that fixes things for you.

SkIndigo 3.0 is in the works and will finally have a working Mac installer so that should make things a bit easier in the future.
