Solidworks Exporter ?

Post by jeffr » Thu Jun 07, 2007 3:00 pm

Wondering how much interest there is in a direct from Solidworks exporter.
I have been working diligently learning Solidworks API programming with the expectation to create an exporter.

try to ask in some Solidworks specialized Forums...

please please make a solidworks exporter.

i'm sure you'll get tons of response. i've been searching for years for a way to get a descent render out of solidworks. photoworks sucks and their whole material system sucks as you've probably discovered if you've spent time with it.

it would be an answer to many prayers if an excellent renderer like yours would work with SW the design possibilities are endless.

Finally the best design software could be teamed with a worthy renderer.

P.S this would make a good poll for your home page.
