Oh damn... I meant Automator.
I tried to play around with it a little bit; maybe it's possible to simulate the batch rendering with that. Maybe only if a certain time is given...

Hi,

i have a problem with animation rendering too.

I have animated scene

and the following Cinema 4D and Cindigo settings

BUT, Indigo renders just one frame and disappears. Strange.

However, i have the same set on another computer and it seems to launch indigo_console to render animation.

I use all the latest of Indigo/Cindigo.

Thank you!

regards,
Alexander

Hey,

to be honest, animation rendering is kind of experimental. It should not have ended up in the final version of Cindigo.

The issue you have seems familiar. In the C4D output settings can you set the Frame Range from "All" to "Range" and see if that works?

Tried that. No changes. Anyway, thanks for clarifying. Let me know when it's ready to use :)

Looking at the SkIndigo-exporter, the issue may affect Cindigo only...

Hi JBKING,

animation export itself is working fine and is fixed in the latest version of Cindigo. But since there is no way to queue the renderings in Indigo yet it only exports them and renders the first one (which has a bug, its trying to load the wrong file. I'll fix that for the next release).

The exported .igs files are what you want. I wrote a little Ruby script to queue .igs files. If you're interested I could share it here.

That would be awesome. I really like the render engine and I make a movie with a friend so I hope we can start rendering with indigo !
Do I have to install ruby first before I can use it on Mac osx ? I dont know this language.
Then am I able to stop rendering by SPP ?
Thank you!
