evil cat

Post by eman7613 » Wed Apr 11, 2007 12:49 pm

Lesson learned, when moving iso file of you c4d cd (that had broken long ago) is being moved to an external drive for storage, keep cat AWAY from power strip, it is bad, very bad. So, now im stuck without c4d :( anyone know of any free programs that are similar to c4d in style and layout and just over all how it functions on the user end (please, don't tell me blender ;p). If not any close seconds to c4d for purchase wise?

Just write to Maxon and ask for a replacement disk. They should have you on file when you registered with them, and in combination with your serial number you should get a new set of CD´s from them, probably for a small fee.

not if you came from the c4d-side!!! for me it was pretty hard 8)
but if you manage to learn blender, its right, you will like it.

btw: im not sure but it might be legal to get a copy from illegal source (you'll sure find one) cause you bought the product. i remeber some maxwell-forum-members talking about this topic some time ago cause the alpha version weren't officially downloadable anymore. But as i said - im not sure. soo no warranty :P

I bought my copy through school, & it didnt need a serial when i installed it so im not sure how that is going to work.

Yes, tried blender, hard, complicated, makes little sence, me no likey :x

im sure i could, and im sure i could easily get a few viri as i do it, rather wouldn't if i can find an alternative.

My cat IS evil, has not eaten my home work yet, but it will put its paws around any book i leave on the ground and scooch back till she has dragged the book under my bed.

*lol*

Blender isn't hard. Just unusual ;)
ask for a thing, you want to make and you get some hints (but maybe, you should do that in the blender-section...)

Wings would be an other idea, I guess... But I don't know how to even create a simple box in it ;)

All cats are evil . . . especially yours. Kill it.

Blender is the best free 3D suite available . . . though a little quirky. Install it.
