the .cdl IS the exporter :)

the rest are just resource files for strings and stuff.

so you are using the old exporter now.

pls delete every .cdl file in your exporter dir and only keep "cinema4dsdk.cdl_R10" (which you must rename to "cinema4dsdk.cdl")

i try with a new scene and the exporter 0.8.1 works...i gave at the scene a new name like test.igs in this way i see that now the name remain that and not scene.igs like with old exporter...
1 the indigo.exe dont go...
2 i try to run indigo.exe and i load test.igs scene.... it crashs immediately...
I work with indigo0.8_test2...

ok i tried like you told me and as above wrote you can see the result
.....could be the problem the indigo 0.8test2???

no error message...it goes out without any error..... also with 07 final...i try it now....

:shock: :shock: :shock: how can i try by cinema a .igs file??????the 3ds file in the cornel directory don't have the indigo tag....is a generic scene
I dont know sincerely what you mean......
however i see that rulze have my same problem...i have no idea...i hope in rulze... :D

ok, it works, yeah great.

but i have one scene and when i will export, cinema crasht. anyway, thx for the new exporter.

where is the error rulze???
Why your scenes crashed and what do you do to correct this error???
could you post a simple scene c4d R10 that is ok with Cindigo 0.8.1??

Hey Fused.... thanks for your new version!!!1!

Here is my bugreport:

2) texture/bump export needs uv_set to be albedo for 3DS export, otherwise Indigo throws an error message!

3) Bump Size is clamped to 1/1000...

4) Bump Exponent & Size doesn't get exported after changing in C4D, it stays at default values,
ONLY gets exported right for diffuse Material!

5) Material Names using dots like "material.name" gets exported "material_name"
for the OBJ material definition, but "material.name" into the .igs file

6) Still no RGB option for Henyey Greenstein :P

7) Camera focus doesn't get exportet, focus_distance allways stay 1.0.

8 ) Instancing on sphere Primitives don't work

9) Material Names in 3DS export are limited to 15 characters, they are clamped afterwards.
The Exporter still writes the full name into the .igs, so Indigo throws out a Error Message
About an undefined Material...

i got some remarks, though :)

you are talking about .3ds export... i t should not work anyway. its disabled

bump size is a cinema issue. should i give it an exponent?


oh, and ill have a look at the scene
