cindigo 0.8 - beta 1
yes i know that problem... will fix it.
@Marcofly: nice test render
edit:
@ZomB: nice render!
yes, i didnt test texture coordinates export (was too happy that i got it working )
i was 99% sure that they must be mirrored on the horizontal, but i really didnt care ^^
will fix that later. its a matter of seconds.
that rotation thing will be more complicated, i thing...

Nice to hear that the texture Problem is easy to fix!
The render isn't very spectacular...
I still have no clue how to use exponent maps for phong
If somebody could give me some code examples for exponent map,
this would be niiiiiiiccceeee!
Are there any plans to include exponent Map export...
for example using the reflection or specular texture channel?!

well not only this... the thing on her back its... yea... lets say she is a biologically full working 3D Mesh, biologically correct texturedOnoSendai wrote:haha that alyx model with the busted tex coords is really disturbing.. she has a hairy face!

exponent map:
Actually i'll make a test scene for this.
Code: Select all
<phong>
<diffuse>1 0 0</diffuse>
<ior>1.5</ior>
<exponent>1000</exponent>
<exponent_map>
...usual tex stuff
</exponent_map>
</phong>
i have a new problem.
the exporter change the view from the camera.
also strange is, he splitet a object in many fragments.

Ok, here's an actual fragment from my new test:
Code: Select all
<material>
<name>themat</name>
<phong>
<ior>1000</ior>
<diffuse>0 0 0</diffuse>
<exponent>10000</exponent>
<exponent_map>
<uv_set>bump</uv_set>
<path>indigo.jpg</path>
<a>0</a>
<b>10000</b>
<c>5</c> <!--value for black pixels-->
<exponent>1.0</exponent>
</exponent_map>
</phong>
</material>
hi fused,
i have not realy a problem but if i try to load a file wich was exportet with your last exporter i get a warnig from indigo:
"warning: normal does not have unit lenght; normalising"
how i say it is not a problem indigo starts the rendering but it spend some time (a lot of time) to korekt the normals.

hey fused, thank you for this
since when you released the source?
bugreport:
- rotation probs with exported .objs
- My lights (one object-tag + one light tag) gets exported twice
- no bug but a suggestion: an option to enable/disable background lighting. (as for now the backgroundlighting-thing gets exported every time)
- "about" window

speaking of sources:
Szasa, the author of the Sunflow exporter for C4D released his source under the LGPL a few days ago because unfortunately he lacks the time to develop it further!
So perhaps it's also useful for you to take a look at it, fused.
You'll find it here:
http://sunflow.sourceforge.net/phpbb2/v ... .php?t=192
(last post, at the moment)
Or perhaps you are even interested to develop a C4D to Sunflow exporter too!

strange behaviour..
<material>
<name>oggetto</name>
<phong>
<ior>2</ior>
<diffuse>1.00000 0.00000 0.50196</diffuse>
<exponent>10000</exponent>
</phong>
</material>
the only difference is: normal smoothing off/ on
not sure if it´s an exporter bug or an indigo bug..
