Simultaneous rendering?
Simultaneous rendering?
Hi, a question,
1) In SketchUp and Blender you can launch simultaneous rendering (4,5,6,7) with the only limit of the available RAM.
2) In Cinema 4D it is possible to "render to picture viewer" and "Indigo plugins for Cinema". So only two that you can go a simultaneous rendering? It's possible?
Thank

Re: Simultaneous rendering?
You can render to externally installed Indigo as often as you like and start as many instances of Indigo as you wish out of C4D or by hand!
Only take care not to enable network rendering by more then one of these

Re: Simultaneous rendering?
I'm sorry but I did not understand.
Could you tell me in detail how to do it?
Thank you

Re: Simultaneous rendering?
Hi
I state my configuration:
MacMinis (2011), 8Giga Ram, Yosemite 10.10.4.
I think the problem is in Cinema and precisely in Cindigo version.
I Indigo 3.8.26 which works very well with Blender SketcthUp and could leave many simultaneous rendering. In Cinema it will only work the first time; subsequent add nothing to the first. Basically the software indigo can launch once. Why?

Re: Simultaneous rendering?
Ah OK, on a mac everything can be different, I'm on a PC
Here some dev or other mac people could maybe help...
First I suggest you make sure to use the latest Indigo Exporter v 3.8.26.2 for C4D:
http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... 10&t=13576
as workaround you could export your scenes to different defined names & folder,
then simply open Indigo by hand, and load the exported igs files directly instead using.
Since you only exporting to "quickrender default" in your example, maybe this is the issue...

Re: Simultaneous rendering?
Blendigo opens multiple instances of Indigo on my Mac. Weird that C4D in particular behaves differently.

Re: Simultaneous rendering?
Just to add that with C4DR16 and newest Cindigo, as well as with the versions before I didn't have any problem of these types. I could, and still can render as many scenes I want, really don't know the problem, apart from that custom export paths.
Re: Simultaneous rendering?
C4DR16 use with Mac?

No, sorry, I am a Win user.
Re: Simultaneous rendering?
Hi
I think Mac C4D can not launch more than one instance.
A escamaotage may have another version of C4D and another version of Indigo es. (C4DR13 + Indigo 3.8.25), it is possible with SketchUp and Blender.
Thank

Re: Simultaneous rendering?
Since it's possible with blender and sketchup under OS X, it probably shouldn't be too hard for the devs to fix.

I think developers should inform users.
