I think Mac C4D can not launch more than one instance.
A escamaotage may have another version of C4D and another version of Indigo es. (C4DR13 + Indigo 3.8.25), it is possible with SketchUp and Blender.

Thank
Hi contegufo,

thanks for bringing this to my attention. This should be fixed in the next release of the C4D exporter.

Wow it's a massive cons…

I wanted to switch from SU to C4D (after checked Blender but the interface lost me) because i'm tired with the mess of the materials in SU for Mac (i don't know for PC). C4D seems like the way to go, it seems good and simple enough. But if i can only render one by one… i'm back to SU i'm afraid.

Hope this will be fixed, it's not like a little bug… Any news around this ?

Thanks in advance.

What if you open Indigo GUI several times and render different scenes simultaneously? I did that too, no problems (but the low cpu performance obviously) here.

Hi

We are talking about the version of Cinema 4D for Mac.

Launch multiple rendering can not be that is the reason the topic.
The thing is possible with SketchUp and Blender.

You are right; it doesn't work anymore here.
I manually set up a shell script with the Apple script editor, pressed "CMD+K", saved it as an app on my desktop and work with it:

Code: Select all

do shell script "open -n /Applications/'Indigo Renderer'/Indigo.app"
