Camera MotionBlur?

Post by zeitmeister » Mon Mar 12, 2012 10:45 pm

Hi,

once again the question:
Is ist possible with the actual versions of Indigo, and if yes: What are the restrictions?

I've got a scene here where a camera is grouped twice.
The top-level group is animated along a spline (align-to-spline-tag), the second group is keyframe-animated (y-axis). In this group lies the camera, which is not animated.

If I add a the motionblur-tag to the camera, or to the group, I get strange render results.

Scene without MB:

In fact:
No matter on which object in my scene the motionblur-tag is being placed, the object simply disappears.
Could you help me please?

Thank you in advance!
Cheers, David

Hey Zeitmeister,

I think motion blur might be broken in general in that specific version you are using.

Does it work without the animated groups?

Objekt motionblur works, but only in meter scene-scale!
In cm scene-scale, MB seems to be computed faaaaaaaaar too high... can you confirm that?
Test-scene (R11.5) added...

Putting the MB-tag to the camera doesn't work at all.

Thanks for the scene. I will look into this issue soon (maybe not before the next official release, tho).

Cheers!
Yves
