Indigo 1.1.17
Indigo 1.1.17
Still trying to eliminate bugs for 1.1 stable version.
But I also added some options for faster scene loading:
Simple scenes can load 8x faster now with verbose = false and write_aperture_preview = false in renderer_settings.
Please report any remaining issues.

* fixed crash on blending a displacing mat with a non-displacing mat.
* fixed bug in spectrum shaders when doing texture lookups with blended materials.
* fixed -haltspp etc.. not working in network master mode.
* made GUI a little wider
* logging with the GUI works again now.
* printing out command line usage when no scene file argument.
* Fixed JPEGs not working in 64 bit Linux build.
* Spheres can now be emitters without crashing.
* Added verbose option, defaults to true
* fixed sensor width to match internal render (taking into account edge padding)
* fixed alpha renders for invalid scatters. (fixed issues with bumpmapping etc..)
* Added write_aperture_preview option, defaults to off.

thank you very much!OnoSendai wrote:Simple scenes can load 8x faster now with verbose = false and write_aperture_preview = false in renderer_settings.
Thanks! Have you taken a look at this issue?

Any chance we'll see a fix for the next stable release?

Possible Bug?
I may have spoke too soon earlier. Am trying to render a diamond and am getting strange coloured blodgess in the reflection on the floor surface.
Using Blender 2.48a, Blendigo 1.1.14, Indigo 1.1.17 windows 64bit
Relevant Settings are:
Bidrectional
Max Consec Reject: 200 ( Low setting like this helps to reduce fireflies?)
Max Depth: 4000
Floor Material is a Phong with CR.nk and exponent of 400. The Floor is slightly angled to lose the end edge.
This could well be caused by my lack of understanding Indigo but the blodges are strange looking:lol:
By the way this was a 4000x4000 pixel rener left for 1 hour. The blodges didn't appear straight away.
