Indigo 1.1.17

Post by OnoSendai » Wed Feb 25, 2009 5:13 pm

Still trying to eliminate bugs for 1.1 stable version.
But I also added some options for faster scene loading:
Simple scenes can load 8x faster now with verbose = false and write_aperture_preview = false in renderer_settings.

Please report any remaining issues.

Any chance we'll see a fix for the next stable release? :)

Any chance of a 64 bit Linux build so we can test it?

Possible Bug?

Post by Doug Armand » Thu Feb 26, 2009 2:02 am

I may have spoke too soon earlier. Am trying to render a diamond and am getting strange coloured blodgess in the reflection on the floor surface.

Using Blender 2.48a, Blendigo 1.1.14, Indigo 1.1.17 windows 64bit

Relevant Settings are:
Bidrectional
Max Consec Reject: 200 ( Low setting like this helps to reduce fireflies?)
Max Depth: 4000
Floor Material is a Phong with CR.nk and exponent of 400. The Floor is slightly angled to lose the end edge.

This could well be caused by my lack of understanding Indigo but the blodges are strange looking:lol:

By the way this was a 4000x4000 pixel rener left for 1 hour. The blodges didn't appear straight away.
