Hi all,
We're happy to announce a beta of the next version of Indigo - 3.2.0.
We will be releasing betas in the 3.2.x series until we reach a 3.2 stable release of Indigo Renderer and Indigo RT.
UPDATE: updated mac build. Now works on 10.7.
Major changes:
* Much faster CPU rendering.
* New material editing interface; for more information, see the blog post.
* New local and online material database access from the main UI, and the ability to paint materials directly onto objects.
* New sky model, with much more realistic sunsets and dawn/dusk skies.
* Faster scene load times, especially with large environment maps.
* Aperture diffraction is improved in quality and performance.
* The Indigo installers now have some of the exporter installers (for SketchUp, Cinema 4D, and Blender) bundled. The bundled versions are SkIndigo 3.0.15, Cindigo 3.0.15, and Blendigo 3.0.10 (for Blender 2.4x only, you can find 2.5x exporters here: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=8).
There are also lots of other improvements and bug fixes, which you can read about in the full change log below (up to the last release, 3.0.14).
Please let us know if you find any bugs, thanks!
