About Indigo

Indigo Renderer is Copyright (c) 2003-2009 Glare Technologies Limited.

Glare was formed in late 2008 by Nick and Ben for the purpose of commercializing Indigo Renderer.

We are based in Wellington, New Zealand - a beautiful small harbour city about 3 hours flight from Sydney. We are self funded and Indigo is our sole product. We are striving to make sure Indigo remains one of the best unbiased renderers in the world, and to get Indigo out onto the world stage.

Glare Technologies staff

Nick Chapman

Nick has been working on renderer techology since 2003. Indigo renderer was born around October 2005 and has been available on the web since early 2006. Nick graduated from Victora University of Wellington with honours in Physics and Computer Science.

Nick is responsible for the ongoing development of Indigo and associated technology.

Ben Nolan

Ben has been involved with Nicks work on Indigo since 2005, and joined Glare full time in 2008 to commercialize Indigo and build a company around supporting the product. Prior to joining Glare, Ben worked in Canada, Germany and New Zealand. He was a founder of Projectx Technology and Nolan Consulting in earlier roles.
